Press Release:
Recorded at "Harmonie" (Bonn, Germany) during the Rockpalas Crossroads Festival, on 09/03/2005
Robin Trower's career has spanned more than four decades. He is one of the finest guitarists in Rock n' Roll history. Throughout his long and winding solo career, guitarist Robin Trower has been called the "White" Hendrix due to his uncanny ability to channel Hendrix' bluesy/psychedelic, Fender Strat-fueled playing style.
He spent the early 60's playing guitar in various London based outfits, and received his big break 1967 joining Procol Harum. After leaving Procol Harum 5 years later, Trower embarked on his solo career and found the success that has made him a legend today, armed with his fluid and powerful guitar style.
This fascinating and powerful show was recorded by the famous WDR Rockpalast on Robin Trower's 60th birthday, in March 2005 at the Crossroads Festival in Germany. The audience welcomed him with hundreds of luminous sparklers, singing "Happy Birthday". An evening full of atmosphere!

Product
Description
Rolling his eyes toward heaven and shaking his head like a man possessed, Muddy Waters cast a powerful spell. His high cheekbones and Oriental eyes gave him a certain Eastern, inscrutable quality, and at times his face even became angelic. He could easily work audiences into a frenzy, marrying the unmistakable sexual urgency of his lyrics to the vocal slide statements that for 40 years were as much a part of his signature as his voice, which many claim was the best in electric blues. A native Mississippi Delta
bluesman, Muddy instinctively understood the unpretentious beauty and power in simplicity. Time and again, he transformed basic patterns into blues masterpieces. Decades after their introduction, hypnotic stop time songs such as Manish Boy still electrify audiences. Like the superstitions and voodoo images prominent in Waters best-known lyrics, the primal earthiness of his rhythms contains a deep, almost subconscious appeal. Jas
Obrecht, Guitar Player Magazine. The rare footage presented in this video presents Muddy Waters at his prime and with one of his best bands.
The concert was filmed during a West Coast tour in 1971. Titles include: Long Distance Call, Hoochie Coochie Man, Manish Boy, Walkin Thru The Park,
Crawlin' Kingsnake, She s Nineteen Years Old, Got My Mojo Working and Hold It
The four final (bonus) tracks from the 1961 Newport Jazz
Festival

| The Kids Are Alright
The reissue of The Who's documentary The
Kids are Alright is excellent. It is not a complete
concert, rather it offers numerous clips from throughout their
career and shows them at the peak.
In addition to the
remastered music video there is a second disc of interviews
and various other goodies, plus a thirty-two page book.
The Who have two other worthwhile videos, The
Who: Live at the Royal Albert Hall,
from 2000 and The Who - Live at the Isle of Wight Festival
from 1970, but this top choice.

It was a triumphant night and is regarded by both the band members and fans as probably the finest Yes gig ever to be filmed. It has been much in demand and is now finally cleared for release.
